Who I Am

I am a soul in Nature. I am a creative mind. I am an adventurous photographer.

I am born nomad and traveler. I moved many time in my life and currently I decided to live in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy.

I love so much travel and nature that I have transformed both in my job: I am Professional Hiking Guide, I travel for work and I do it responsibly.
When I travel, I love to tiptoe into the place I visit. I take care of human relationships and when I meet local people, I let them show me their daily life, their culture and spaces, avoiding disturbing any present balance.

I believe in Mother Nature, I love her expressions through light, wind, earth, fire, water, animals and plants.

Photography is my expression to communicate my sustainable way to approach the World and Nature.

Through my pictures I want to make visible something that "without me, might perhaps never have been seen" (cit. R. bresson), exactly the role I play in my job as a Guide in leading people to discover new places.
I want to share awareness on diversity, respect, peace... and why not, also share a new way to travel.

This is my Responsible Photography

Over the course of my life I have developed a deep sense of presence. For me, taking photos is an act of meditation.

There is full awareness of the moment and the place I am in. It is not just a "personal" presence or a concentrated mind. I approach the environments and people I meet with the utmost respect and deep connection and this creates "responsibility" in the approach.

The Responsible tourism is what I do in my job. Responsible photography is what I put in place and the visible representation of the values I believe in.

Nature photographer & Travel Documentary photographer

From my studies and knowledge I know that natural dynamics contain the causes and explanations of the social, cultural and traditional elements of a population. The link between Mankind and Nature is the essential basis of life.

Now more than ever, we should be aware that we cannot consider ourselves disconnected from the greatest ecological system: our Planet.
The climate crisis, its small-scale and large-scale effects, the social problems due to climate migrations, the survival of people living in close contact with natural resources, the preservation of ecosystems from the massification and globalization of tourism are the issues I care about the most.

I want to represent a safe, heal and mystical connection between Nature and Human Being, because I know we still have so much to learn...

The picture is not made by the photographer, the picture is more good or less good in function of the relationship that you have with the people you photograph.
